An embedded circuit board records and stores a real-time count of turbine revolutions. This count is transmitted via a digital cable to a standard Sensorfield transmitter, which also powers the device. Measurement range is from 1 to 100,000+ barrels per day, depending on the turbine flowmeter manufacturer’s specifications. Resolution—depending on turbine specifications—is typically better than one gallon per day.
Along with the RS-485 cable, Sensorfield’s 4–20 mA adapter cable delivers true universal plug-and-play capability, giving a voice to virtually any loop-powered device. It allows users to integrate their own sensors and equipment—not just Sensorfield devices.
Together, these tools provide a fast, SCADA-like monitoring solution at a fraction of the cost, offering near real-time visibility, broad compatibility, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure. And with Sensorfield, there are no monthly charges.
This quick-connect RS-485 cable interfaces directly with a Sensorfield transmitter to enable communication with user-supplied devices via Modbus.
The Sensorfield website allows full remote interaction with the Modbus device, either directly through the web interface or via commands issued through the Sensorfield API.
This dual-function sensor, providing 2 µV accuracy from 0–5 V and 10 mV accuracy from 5–35 V, supports either precision voltage measurement or contact/switch-closure detection. Voltage readings are transmitted with microvolt-level resolution, providing approximately 2 µV accuracy from 0–5 V and approximately 10 µV accuracy from 5–35 V.
In contact-switch mode, the device reports open or closed status. The operating mode can be changed remotely by the user via the Sensorfield web interface, allowing the sensor’s use case to be reconfigured on demand.
This is a small coupling with 1” threads and an embedded pulse counter circuit. Two pigtail cables tap into a standard turbine flowmeter unit, accessing the turbine revolution signals, and “giving the unit a voice”. It is a quick-connect device compatible with most turbine units including Nuflo™, Badger™, Blancett™, Turbines Inc, Kimray™ models.
