This is one of the many unique capabilities of our system, showcasing how standard sensors and attachments can be used in flexible, creative ways.
In this solution, our compact Nano transmitter is connected by a small cable to a hex-shaped bushing mounted on a pipe. The busing is part of a turbine flow meter installation. Traditionally, this meter type provides accurate and high-resolution flow data, but the readings are only visible on the local display.
Our system connected the Nano to the signal outfit of the flow meter, enabling real-time data transmission directly to the cloud without altering or degrading the data. Users can convert the data into interval, data, or cumulative readings. This gives the flow meter a voice to communicate continuously without the need for a costly SCADA system impractical in remote field locations.
This simple, low-cost solution turns existing instruments into connected devices, delivering high-quality data in real time. Operators gain continuous visibility into system performance, allowing for faster, data-driven decisions, all for a fraction of the cost of traditional telemetry systems.
